Storytelling Journey is a gateway to your child's world of fairy tales and possibilities, you will have a new perspective on children and the required skills to influence them. Islamic heritage is full ofinfluential stories that build character. Through the program, you will know your children reading styles and recommended reading for different developmental stages. You will also practice how to make up stories of everyday life events. Upon Completion, Participants will be presenting their own made-up stories.

6 Classes, 90 mins each.

Today's challenge is not the scarcity of resources but plenty of it. Homeschooling VS regular schooling, Spiritual Schooling vs secular Schooling, Formal Education VS Informal Education, and so on. This program will explore theories and practice on how children and teachers learn in different learning contexts based on the Islamic philosophy of teaching and learning. Participants will be working on a case study throughout the program, they will be able to implement or develop upon program completion.

4 Classes, 90 mins each.

What is a childhood game you still remember? Can video games be educational? What is a game that a kid will never get bored with?

Through this program, we will explore theories and practices behind Play-Based Learning. We will try out some game design tools to deliver not only knowledge but also values and ethics. Upon completion, participants will be presenting a prototype of a learning game.

5 Classes, 90 mins each.

Parenting is the most challenging yet rewarding profession we-parents- sign up for. In our journey, we need support and understanding to help us understand our children and ourselves. Through this program, we will explore the Islamic Philosophy of Parenting to Understand the reasons behind children's misbehavior and the tools to use. We will dig deep into ourselves to understand our own behavior and parenting styles with our children.Upon completion of the program, you will have a draft life plan with steps to reshape your relationship with your family.

7 Classes, 90 mins each.

The pedagogy of curriculum designing is diverse and unique at the same time. Through this program, we will learn tools and philosophy of curriculum designing with an in depth view of the backward design method introduced by Wiggins and McTighe and how their methods correspond with the Islamic philosophy of Education. Participants will craft a sample lesson plan through the program.
